On November 13, 1973, maybe 4,000 Khmer Communsit armed forces dressed in black in valley Samrong and Chranok mountains at VU 733-710, 737-710, 734-707. They attemped to attack the Kampong Chhnang city.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៣ ខែវិចិ្ឆកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដចំនួនប្រហែល ៤,០០០នាក់ ស្លៀកពាក់ខ្មៅប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបានធ្វើចលនា ត្រង់ចន្លោះភ្នំសំរោង និងភ្នំច្រណុក ត្រង់វ៉េអ៊ុយ ៧៣៣-៧១០, ៧៣៧-៧១០, ៧៣៤-៧០៧។ ពួកវាប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីក្រុងកំពង់ ឆ្នាំង។
