On November 16, 1974, a large number of the Free Khmer armed forces were temporary permitted to go back home, but 80 of them were assigned to guard thier headquarter.
About 163 Free Khmer soldiers under the command of Thach Chan Li Vong, were running short of food stuffs and weapons. កងទ័ពសេរីកាចំនួន១៦៣នាក់ ស្ថិតនៅក្រោមបញ្ជាកា ថាច់ ចន្ទលីវង្ស មានកាខ្វះខាតគ្រឿងឧបភោគបរិភោគ និងអាវុធ។ ថ្ងៃទី១៦-វិចិ្ឆកា- ១៩៧៤ កងទ័ពសេរីកាមួយចំនួនត្រូវទៅផ្ទះរៀងៗខ្លួនជាបណ្ដោះ អាសន្នសិន ដោយទុកតែអ្នកមានអាវុធចំនួន៨០នាក់ នៅការពារជំរុំ។
