The US airlift of food, fuel, and ammunition was suspended for a second dary and a US Embassy spokesman said it was doubtful whether it would resume tomorrow. The airlift has been the capital's sole source of supply since the communists cut land and river routes. The spokesman said the suspension was partly due to greater accuracy in insurgent rocket fire on the airport in the past two days because of deteriorating Goverment positions around Tuol Leap, six miles from the airport. Fighting throughout the country took a sharp upswing yesterday on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the founding of the National United Fornt of Cambodia, the political arm of the insurgent movement.
