Summary / Abstract :

As a consequence of the frantic efforts of the Thieu administration under US command to undermine the Paris agreement and continue the war at the rate of no less than 5,000 land grabbing or "pacification" operation a week, the military delegation of South Vietnam decided on May 10 to suspend the meeting of the two party central joint military commission both at the top level and in all the sub-commission. Three days later, in Paris, the delegation of the PRG to the consultative conference at La Celle Saint Cloud also declared boycott of its sessions till an end was put to all Saigon distruptive activity and a clear proof given of the latter's willingness to negotiate.
