Summary / Abstract :

Special tribute was paid to the "broad masses" if working people in Cambodia by a "Special National Congress" held in the newly liberated country April 25-27. The meeting was chaired by Khieu Samphan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense if the Royal Government of National Union of Cambodia (GRUNK). Samphan is also the commander-in-chief of the Cambodian peoples National Liberation Armed Forces (PNLAF).
