French journalist Serge Thion just returned from a unique trip behind the lines in Cambodai. Kapong Chhnang province, Cambodia-tha capital, Phnom Penh, is behind us. We drive slowly by the checkpoints, past napping guards. Nothing looks different, but we have left the domain of Lon Nol Government. We are now in tha liberated areas held by the United Nation Front of Cambodia. And we are just one or two kilometers from the city limits. Originally I had imagined that I would have travel for a long time and go for off the road to redezvous with the front. In fact, the front's guerilla forces can move around at will right at the outskirts of the city.
