Communist-led Khmer Rouge insurgents early yesterday overan the Mekong River ferry town of Neak Luong and cleared the way for a final assault on the beleaguered Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh. The fall of the town came only hours after Marshal Lon Nol had left tear fully for the first stage of exile in Bali.
