Well, folks..we finally made for a while it looked as though Lon Nol might arrive at the Leamington Hotel before we did, but after two hours of speeches, announcements, skits, and more announcements, over hundreds of us made our way from the shores of lake Merritt to downtown Oakland. A beautiful day, indeed, it was for a demonstration against CIA's Birdshit Airline who is about to fly the "leaders" of Cambodia out to room 327 at the hotel. White sails dotted the lake as boats scudded before the breeze. An all woman crew sculled a hull in perfect unison while joggers jogged about our meeting without even faltering a step.
