|
The United States conducted no spy operations against Cambodia-other than reconnaissance flights that would have provoked the Mayaguez incident, the state department told congress today. In a formal reply to eight questions, the states department said a demand to release the American freighter was delivered to the Cambodian mission in Peking before the U.S military recovery of the ship but the message was ignored.
