Summary / Abstract :

On November 9, 1953, the Cambodian people recovered independence after nearly and a centuty of struggle against the French colonialists. Eversince, the Kingdom of Cambodia under the leadership of Sammdech Head of State Norodom Sihanouk had been regarded as a "Peace Oasis". For 16 years on end the valiant and talented Cambodian peaple had veen doing their utmost to defend their national independence and build their country and had recorded signal results.
