As the Khmer Rouge consolidated heir hold an Phnom Penh, the Chinese leadership yesterday pledge "militant friendship" for Prince Norodom Sihanouk's new regime. A message pledging solidarity and support for the new regime was released in Peking signed by Chairman Mao Tse-Tung, Premier Chou En-Lai and the octogenarian Chu Teh, Chaiman of the Standing Committe of the National People's Congress but better known to the Chinese nation as the "Father of the Red Army".
