Washington, March 13 (UPI). Several senators today asked the senate armed services committee to begin an immediate investigation into reports that American officers are serving as military advisers with the Cambodian army. Sen Alan Cranston, D-Calif, joined by a number of other senators, requested the investigation in a letter to chairman John C. Stennis, D. Miss . It was based on a report in the washington post from Kampot, Cambodia, that Maj. Law-rence W.Ondecker, of the U.S army, have been attacked to the Cambodian 3d Brigade and is taking an active part in operation.
