Paris, April 29 (IHT). - France has protested the new Cambodian regime's plans to evacuate 610 persons, many of them sick, from the French Embassy in Phnom Penh overland to Thailand by truck. United Nations and Red Cross officials in Vienna and Geneva said that they had recieved word of the intended evacuation today. French statements from the Elysêe palace and the foreign military indicated that the 300 mile trip overland would risk the lives of many of the embassy refugees.
