At the invitation of prsident of the DRVN and presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front CC Ton Duc Thang, Samdech Norodom Sihanouk paid a friendship visit to the DRVN from October 26 to 28, 1972. He and princess Monique Sihanouk were accompanied by Samdeh Penn Nouth; Chairman of the Plitical Bureau of the CC of the National United Front of Kampuchea and Prime Minister of the Royal Government of the National Union of Cambodia, and Madame Penn Nouth, Ieng Sary, Special Envoy of the home branch of the NUKF and the RGNUC, Sarin Chhak, Minister for Freign Affairs, and Madame Sarin Chhak, Chau Sang, Minister in charge of special missions, Ngo Hou, Minister of Pblic Health and Religious and Social Affairs, Chea San, Minister of Justic and Judicial Reforms, Keat Chhom, Minister delegate of the Prime Office, and Madame Keat Chhom, Sien An, Ambastiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the DRVN and Madame Sem An and other personalities.
