Summary / Abstract :
Bangkok, April 13, Cambodian insurgents apparently remained outside Phnom Penh today, in spite of the American withdrawal and open invitations to their titular leader, Prince Sihanouk, to enter the capital and take power. The first firm indication that the situation inside Phnom Penh remained unchanged came today when an air Cambodge plane flew from here to the Cambodian capital and returned without mishap. Prince Sihanouk, who has lived in Peking since he was deposed in 1970, yesterday received almost simultaneous invitations to return home, one from the United State and from President of Cambodia, Saukham Khoy.
