|
In Cambodia, army sources reported violant fighting along highway 4, the supply road that link Phnom Penh to the seaport of Kampong Som. Khmer Rouge insurgents hold 40 miles of a road. Sources said 30 government soldiers wounded when Khmer Rouge insurgents struck the garrison at Kampong Seila, 90 miles southwest of Phnom Penh on the highway, with hundreds of 105-mm artillery shells and aground assualt. Several other small out-posts around the town also same under insurgent attack.
