Khieu Samphan, the Khmer Rouge leader sometimes called the Che "Guevara of Cambodia", has imerged as a leader who may determine the fate of post-war south-east Asia following a hero's tour of Asian, African and Arab nations recognising Prince Norodom Sihanouk's Royal Government of National Union. The trip was the guerrilla's first international appearance since the U.S invasion of Cambodia four years ago.
