Summary / Abstract :
|
Cambodian Soldiers have intruded seven times into the border areas of Surin province's Prasat district and Kapchoeng subdistrict. They have fired into Thai territory, robbed the people, tried to recruit people and sought information on Thai troop movements. In addition, they have sneaked into Thai territory to plant landmines, particularly at the border passes. Two Thai villagers have been killed by their landmines. At 1400 on 20th June, Cambodian Soldiers fired at our patrol aircraft in the area of the Chong Chon border pass inside Thai territory, but missed. Cambodian Soldiers have intruded 10 times into the border areas of the Burriram province's Ban Kruat district.
