Oum Sarun, alias Rith, disappeared, male, aged 25 during the KR regime. According to Sarun៌s cousin, Chhim Chanti told that Sarun៌s father was Oum Chun and mother was Ros Noy. Sarun had two siblings. He was born in Angkorban Number 7 village, Angkorban sub-district, Kang Meas district, Kampong Cham province. During the time of bombardment in 1973, Sarun volunteered to follow the commune chief៌s propaganda. He first joined the Art group. When coming home, Sarun usually taught his siblings how to sing the revolutionary songs. Sarun then worked in the Ministry of Commerce in Kampong Cham province. In 1975, Sarun was seed ride CL motorbike to visit his village. At that time, someone who had a motorbike to ride must have held an important position because the commune chief didn៌t even have a motorbike to ride, neither. It was in 1976 that a photo was sent, existing a picture of Sarun៌s wife whom Angkar has arranged for him. Since then, Sarun had been disappeared. His parents died, and his younger sister who had joined the revolution like him was also disappeared. According to the biography, Sarun was arrested by Angkar on February 26, 1977 while his cousin, Chhim Chanti, was permitted to live in the child center from 1975 to 1979, separating from parents. In the morning, Angkar had Chanti collect cows៌ waste with other children including 17 April children. During the KR regime, Angkar got Sarun to work hard day and night. In the day, he collected the cows៌s waste to put in the paddy field. At night, he had to chase mice out of the paddy field, and sometimes he fell over the dikes. It៌s a very difficult time. There wasn៌t enough food to eat only porridge mixed with banana trunks and corns. It៌s in 1977 that militiamen captured new people and came catch children in the center; especially, there៌re a lot of Cham people killed.
អ៊ុំ សារុន ហៅ រិទ្ធ បាត់ខ្លួន ភេទប្រុស អាយុ២៥ឆ្នាំ ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហម។ បើតាមឈ្មោះ ឈឹម ចាន់ទី ត្រូវជាប្អូនជីដូន មួយប្រាប់ថា សារុន ឪពុកឈ្មោះ អ៊ុំ ជុន ម្ដាយឈ្មោះ រស់ ណយ និងមានបងប្អូនពីរនាក់ មានស្រុកកំណើតនៅភូមិអង្គរបាន ទី៧ ឃុំអង្គបាន ស្រុកកងមាស ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ សារុន មិនដឹងរៀន សូត្រដល់ត្រឹមថ្នាក់ណាទេ តែដឹងថា ជំនាន់ទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកខ្លាំងនៅ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ សារុន បានស័្មគ្រចិត្ដ តាមការឃោសនារបស់ប្រធានភូមិឃុំ ចូលដំបូងនៅខាងក្រុម សិល្បៈស្រុកពេលមកលេងផ្ទះម្ដងៗតែងតែបង្ហាត់បងប្អូនឱ្យចេះចេ្រÃៈងចមេ្រÃៈងបដិវត្ដ។ ក្រោយមកទៀត សារុន បានទៅធ្វើ ការនៅក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្មរដ្ឋ ខេត្ដកំពង់ចាម។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ ឃើញជិះម៉ូតូសេអ៊ិលមកលេងស្រុកកំណើត កាលនោះអ្នកណាមាន ម៉ូតូជិះសុទ្ធតែធ្វើការធំហើយ ព្រោះថ្នាក់ត្រឹមប្រធានឃុំ សឹងថា គ្មានកង់ជិះផង។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦ ឃើញមានផ្ញើររូបមកស្រាប់តែ ឃើញមានប្រពន្ធអង្គការរៀបឱ្យ តាំងពីនោះមកស្រាប់តែបាត់ ដំណឹងរហូត ណាមួយឪពុកម្ដាយក៏ស្លាប់អស់ ប្អូនស្រីដែលចូលធ្វើ បដិវត្ដដូចជា សារុន ដែរ ក៏បាត់ខ្លួនឈឹង។ បើតាមប្រវត្ដិរូប ឈ្មោះ អ៊ុំ សារុន ហៅ រិទ្ធ អង្គការចាប់ខ្លួននៅក្រសួងពាណិជ្ជកម្ម រដ្ឋ នៅថៃ្ងទី២៦ខែ២ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៧។ ចំណែក ឈ្មោះ ឈឹម ចាន់ទី ត្រូវជាប្អូនជីដូនមួយ ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហមពីឆ្នាំ១៩៧៥ដល់១៩៧៩ អង្គការឱ្យរស់នៅក្នុងមណ្គលកុមារបែកចេញពីឪពុកម្ដាយ។ ចាន់ទី ពេលព្រឹកឡើងអង្គការឱ្យដើររើសអាចម៌គោជាមួយកុមារជាច្រើន នាក់ទៀតមានទាំងកុមារ១៧មេសាផងដែរ។ ជំនាន់ខែ្មរក្រហម អង្គការឱ្យធ្វើការទាំងយប់ទាំងថៃ្ង ពេលថៃ្ងដើររើសអាចម៌
