Now that "terror of Hanoi leaders", Richard Nixon, has left the stage, the communist may be encourage to take the initiative and step up insurgency activity, according to the semi-official republican in Phnom Penh. Although a letter the contents of which were not revealed was sent to President Ford, neither Marshal Lon Nol nor any government official made public any statement as to what Nixon's resignation could mean for Cambodia.
