Phnom Penh, Cambodia, December 14- There are nearly 70,000 monks and priest in Cambodia, and only 400 doctors- a good indication of the importance that Buddism, with its mystricism and fortume- tetting and magic omens plays in the everyday life of the Khmer people. "Oh no" he replied, laughing nervously. "These enemy troops are also Khmers. They would not shoot at a monk. That would be against Buddha".
