Kaoy Den, 21, chief of spying squad, was born in Boeng Daol Village, Kram Tayang Sub-district, Preah Sdech District, Prey Veng Province. Den joined the army in Kram Tayang Sub-district in 1971. In 1972, Phan indoctrinated Den to join the Free Khmer and expand forces, to persuade soldiers to defect from their frontline. In 1975, Phuon and Phan assigned Den to unit 502 of aviation to expand forces secretly in preparation for the destruction of materials.
ឈ្មោះកោយ ដេន អាយុ ២១ ឆ្នាំ ជាប្រធានពួកកងស៊ើបការណ៍។ ដេន កើតនៅភូមិបឹងដោល ឃុំក្រាំតាយ៉ង ស្រុកព្រះសេ្ដច ខេត្ដព្រៃវែង។ ដេន ចូលធ្វើកងទ័ពនៅឃុំក្រាំតាយ៉ងនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧១។ ១៩៧២ ផានអប់រំដេនឱ្យចូលខ្មែរសេរីធ្វើសកម្មភាពពង្រីកកម្លាំង ចលនាយុទ្ធជនឱ្យរត់ចោលខ្សែត្រៀម។ ១៩៧៥ ភួននិងផានចាត់ តាំងដេនឱ្យទៅកង ៥០២អាកាសចរដើម្បីពង្រីកកម្លាំងដោយសម្ងាត់ ត្រៀមចាំកំទេច៎សម្ភារៈសំខាន់ៗ។
