Almost every weekday morning for two weeks an under weight, intense woman nervously rang the bell of the Paris Embassy of the the Royal Government of the National Union of Cambodia. The Embassy officials were always polite but reminded her there was no need to keep coming back. They would notify her the moment they had any "news".
