Washington (CDN)-Informed diplomatic sources here believe the way may soon be opened for the return to strift-ridden Cambodia of Prince Norodom Sihanouk, the former ruler who has been in exile in China since March, 1970. These informants believe the Chinese have pressed for Sihanouk's ultimate restoration power and may even have exacted a pledge of U.S supported for the plan, in exchange for Peking cooperation in the achievement of the Vietnaman cease-fire agreement.
