Washington, July 2.-The Defense Department said today the level of U.S bombing in Cambodia has been intensified in recent days, but denied that the more violated the spirit of President Nixon's compromise agreement with congress to halt American military activity in Indochina by Aug 15. a Pentagon spokeman said there had been a more than 30 percent increase in the number of U.S factical air stricks since the middle of last week. Mr Nixon's compromise offer to congress was accepted Friday by the reluctant and divided legislative.
