As is usually the case, somebody's conscience finally got the best of him. This time it was a 35-year-old former U.S air force major named Hal M.Knight Jr. who wrote a congressman that he wanted to get something off his chest so last week Knight, who recently retired from the air force after fifteen years of service, came before the U.S. senate armed serivices committee and, in a calm voice, told of participating in the most systematic military cover-up in the history of American's role in the Indochinese war.
