On 30 April 1970, when President Nixon ordered the invasion of Cambodia by U.S. and South Vietnamese armed forces, he specified that the attacks were necessary to protect our men who are in Vietnam and to guarantee the continued success of our withdrawal and Vietnamization (of Broadsheet, June 70, July 1972) on the withdrawal of the troops from Cambodia, be said on 3 June 1970 that air activity would continue to protect the lives and security of our forces in South Vietnam.
