A new Cambodia constitution came into force today, and the country, ruled by the Khmer Rouge since April, will henceforth officially be called Democratic Cambodia, Radio Phnom Penh reported. Information Minister Hu Nim said the constitution, approved last months by a 1,000 member nation congress in Phnom Penh had been termed admirable by Prince Norodom Sihanouk, the nominal head of state. The new nation flag wold be red, with the nation "Angkor" symbol on a yellow background in the middle, replacing the former blue-red-blue.
