In implementation of a decision of the third national congress of people's representatives of Kampuchea held on December 14, 1975 and the government council which met on January 3, 1976, the royal government of national union of Kampuchea on January 5, 1976 formally promulgated the new constitution of Democratic Kampuchea which came into force throughout the country on the same day January 5, 1976. The fraternal people of Kampuchea in the light of the new constitution, will record more brilliant successes in national constitution on order to take Democratic Kampuchea rapidly and vigirously to a bright future.
