Summary / Abstract :
|
The war in Cambodia has been directly linked with the war in South Vietnam, more so than the related but distant struggle in Laos, the Saigon and Phnom Penh government have been allies whereas Vietaine has never been especially close to President Thieu. The simultaneous and sharp decline in the military fortunes of both these anti communist governments in the past month will therefore be the more damaging.
