Official silence still prevails at the moment of writing , but it is difficult to doubt that, whether chinese pressure was needed or not, former Thai premier Kukrit Pramoj and Cambodian boss Pol Pot met and talked about thier border conflicts during their recent coincidental visits to Peking. The sooner these futile open clushes are enden the better, of course, for both sides and for Peking.
