After rice and maizze, cassava is one of the most important strategic crops. Its leaves and roots can serve as food. Its young leaves can be served as a vegetable and its roots can be used in preparing soup or dessert. In addition, our relutionary medical corps have used flour extracted from cassava roots to make all kinds of medicinal pills.
