Summary / Abstract :
|
The American made Huey helicopter which was marked with a red flag, symbol of the Khmer Rouge, landed at Tha Mai airfield. The surprise landing of the aircraft was swiftly reported to Tha Mai Police station by the airfield guards and a police squad quickly raced to the scene. The pilot identified as Lt Bin Lee Lim Kuan (31) told authorities that he wanted to seek asylum in France.
