|
A defector from Cambodia says his country is a tortured land, ruled not by its official government, but by an all-powerful five-man committee. The rulers, he says, want to isolate Cambodia from the outside world but have allowed China to gain a foolhold in the Country. The defector, Lt. Pich Lim Kuon piloted a helicopter last week from Phnom Penh's Pochentong Airport across the frontier to Thailand and is now in Thai custody.
