Hua Kuo-feng held talks with Pol Pot in the afternoon in a cordial and friendly atmosphere. Taking port in the talks on the Cambodia side were Ieng Sary and Vorn Vet. Taking port on the Chinese side were Teng Hsiao-Ping, Li hsien-nien, Keng Piao and Han Nien-Lung.
