When the communist Khmer Rouge took power in Cambodia just over a year ago, they virtually sealed the country off from the outside world what information has come out of Cambodia since then has been mainly provided by refugees-and their accounts have often proved fragmentary and unreliable. Recently, however, a helicopter pilot for the new communist government defected to Thailand and a French journalist managed to slip across Cambodia's border with Thailand to film a group of anti-communist Cambodian guerrillas.
