A recording of a statement by Khieu Samphan, chairman of the state presidium of democratic Cambodia, was broadcast by Phnom Penh radio in the same bulletin as the Cambodian Government statement. The first part of Khieu Samphan's statement was a verbating repeat of the first eight parts of the Cambodian Government statement.
