Vietnamese military units are pushing deeper into Cambodia and may be a close as 55 kilometres from the capital, Phnom Penh, reliable Thai intelligence sources said yesterday. The sources, according to AP, say some Vietnamese unite have pushed along strategic highway one towards the key Mekong river town of Neak Luong while others are moving northwards from the "parrots beak" and into the low, marshy areas of Phnom Penh.
