Summary / Abstract :
The U.S was responsible for the starvation deaths of at least 15,000 Cambodians-mainly small children-during the last serveral months of the war. This was one of the findings of a study just released to the press prior to publication by the Indochina resource center of Washington. The study reveals that the U.S. deliverately sent insufficient food to Phnom Penh in order to have more cargo space for munitions in an effort to prolong the war.
