Summary / Abstract :
Most of the 145,000 Indochinese refugees who have fled to the United State since South Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos were taken over by the communists seem to be finding life in this strange new land a harsh and often unrewarding struggle. Many are on welfare. Many are unemployed or underemployed. Perhaps most of those with jobs are working at levels considerably below those they held or were trained for in their homelands.
