On June 6, 1978 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam declared that it rejects the May 15, 1978 Note of the Minitry Foreign Affairs of Democratic Kampuchea. The Ministry Foreign Affairs of Democratic Kampuchea would like to stress that Democratic Kampuchea continues to consider the May 15, 1978, Note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Democratic Kampuchea as the basis for solving the problem originated from the acts of violation and aggression of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam against Democratic Kampuchea.
