Prak Suon is PTSD victim. She got married to Suon Sun in 1979. She has 6 children. She has 7 siblings, but one of them died in 1979. Her father called Mei Prak died after 1979. Her mother called San Sokh died after 1979 because of sickness. Suon was imprisoned as the Khmer Rouge confused her name to the other prisoner. After 1979, she worked as a soldier for a short time because of her father death. She was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. She was brainwashed. She was close to death. She was forced to separate from his family members. She was drown when she was 9 years old. She was suffocate. She was beaten on the head in 1989. She used to loose consciousness once for 7 hours. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She has recurrent nightmares. She feels on guard. She feels irritable. She is avoiding thoughs associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional. She feels that people do not understand clearly what happened to her. She finds it is difficult to perform her daily tasks. She blames herself for things that have happened. She feels guilty for having survived. She feels ashamed of the hurtful events. She spends time thinking about why these event happened to her. She feels that she is the only one who suffered the events.
ប្រាក់ សួនមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់រៀបការជាមួយសួន ស៊ុននៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩។ គាត់មានកូន៦នាក់។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៧នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដម្នាក់ស្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩។ ឪពុកឈ្មោះមី ប្រាក់ស្លាប់ក្រោយឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះសាន សុខស្លាប់ក្រោយឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩ដោយសារជំងឺ។ សួនធ្លាប់ជាប់គុកដោយសារខែ្មរក្រហមច្រឡំឈ្មោះគាត់នឹងអ្នកទោសផេ្សងទៀត។ ក្រោយឆ្នាំ១៩៧៩គាត់បំរើចូលទ័ពដោយខឹងថាឪពុកគាត់ស្លាប់។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់យល់សប្ដិអាក្រក់ជារឿយៗ។ គាត់ចេះតែប្រុងខ្លួនជានិច្ច។ គាត់ឆាប់ខឹង។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់មានប្រតិកម្មនៅក្នុងខ្លួននិងចិត្ដមួយរំពេចពេទ្យនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏គួរអោយឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាអ្នកឯទៀតយល់ដឹងពុំច្បាស់លាស់អំពីរឿងរ៉ាវដែលកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់មានការលំបាកក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារផេ្សងៗ។ គាត់ស្ដីបន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងចំពោះរឿងរ៉ាវដែលកើតមាន។ គាត់បន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងដែលនៅរស់រានមានជីវិត។ គាត់គិតថាគួរឱ្យអៀនខ្មាសអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់របស់គាត់។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យចំណាយពេទ្យគិតឆ្ងល់ថាហេតុអី្វបានជាហេតុការណ៍ទាំងអស់នោះកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់គិតថាមានតែគាត់ម្នាក់គត់ដែលទទួលរងការឈឺចាប់ទាំងនោះ។
