Top Siep, medic of 17 April hospital, conceded that he and Yoeun, medic of 17 April hospital, freely walked and indirectly criticized leading cadres. After that, Yoeun closely contacted Kim aka Khna, medic of 17 April hospital. In June 1976, Kim convinced Yoeun to join the White Khmer.
ឈ្មោះ តុប សៀប យុទ្ធជនពេទ្យ ព-១៧ មេសា បានឆ្លើយថា ខ្លួន និងឈ្មោះ យឿន យុទ្ធជនពេទ្យ ព-១៧ មេសា សេរីដើរ ហើរ ហើយនិយាយវាយប្រហារកម្មាភិបាលដឹកនាំ។ ក្រោយមក យឿន ទាក់ទងស្និទ្ធស្នាលជាមួយឈ្មោះ គឹម ហៅ ខ្នា យុទ្ធជនពេទ្យ ព-១៧ ហើយ គឹម បានអូសទាញយឿន ឱ្យចូលខ្មែរស នៅខែ៦ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៦។
