Chheun Sopheap is PTSD victim. She got married to Mom Ouk when she was 17 years old. Mom Ouk was sent to kill in November 1977 in Sang Prison. Chheun Sopheap has 5 daughters. Her mother called Long. Her father called Chheun, but died in 1983. She has 8 siblings, but three of them died. In the Khmer Rouge regime, she was lacking of food, water, medical care, and shelter. She was brainwashed. She was close to death. She was forced to separate from her family members. She used to drown when she was 7 or 8 years old. She has suffocated for the last 3 or 4 years. She was beaten on the head in 2001. She used to loose consciousness many times. Recently, she has recurrent thoughts of the most hurtful events. She feels as though the event is happening again. She feels jumpy. She finds it is difficult to concentrate. She has trouble sleeping. She feels on guard. She feels irritable. She is avoiding activities that remind her of the traumatic events. She feels as if she does not have a future. She is avoiding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. She is sudden emotional when reminded of the most hurtful events. She feels that people do not understand clearly what happened to her. She finds it is difficult to perform her daily tasks. She feels guilty for having survived. She feels hopelessness. She feels ashamed of the hurtful events. She spends time thinking about why these events happened to her. She feels as if she is going crazy. She feels that she is the only one who suffered the events.
ឈឺន សុភាពមានជំងឺបាក់ស្បាត។ គាត់រៀបការជាមួយមុំ អ៊ូកនៅពេលដែលគាត់មានអាយុ១៧ឆ្នាំម៉្លេះ។ មុំ អ៊ូកត្រូវគេបញ្ជូនយកទៅសម្លាប់នៅខែវិច្ឆិកា ១៩៧៧នៅគុកសង់។ ឈឺន សុភាពមានកូនស្រី៥នាក់។ ម្ដាយឈ្មោះឡុង។ ឪពុកឈ្មោះឈឺន ស្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៣។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៨នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដ៣នាក់ស្លាប់បាត់ហើយ។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហម គាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបម្ហា ថ្នាំពេទ្យព្យាបាល និងជម្រកស្នាក់នៅ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេអប់រំអោយផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ជិតតែនឹងត្រូវស្លាប់ខ្លួន។ គាត់ត្រូវគេបំបែកចេញពីសមាជីកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់លង់ទឹកនៅពេលគាត់អាយុ៧រឺ៨ឆ្នាំ។ គាត់មានអការៈថប់ដង្ហើមរយៈពេល៣-៤ឆ្នាំកន្លងមកនេះ។ គាត់ត្រូវគេវាយចំក្បាលនៅឆ្នាំ២០០១។ គាត់ធ្លាប់សន្លប់បាត់បង់ស្មារតីជាញឹកញាប់។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យនឹកឃើញជារឿយៗដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់បំផុតរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពុងតែកើតមានឡើងថ្មីៗ។ គាត់ឆាប់ភ្ញាក់ផ្អើល។ គាត់ពិបាកប្រមូលអារម្មណ៍គិតទៅលើអ្វីមួយ។ គាត់ពិបាកក្នុងការទទួលទានដំណេក។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យប្រុងខ្លួនជានិច្ច។ គាត់ឆាប់ខឹង។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងនូវសកម្មភាពណាដែលធើ្វឱ្យគាតនឹកដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាហាក់ដូចជាគាត់គ្មានថៃ្ងអនាគតទៅមុខ។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់បណ្ដាលអោយមានប្រតិកម្មក្នុងខ្លួនពេលនឹកឃើញដល់ព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់ជាទីបំផុតរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាអ្នកឯទៀតយល់ដឹងពុំច្បាស់លាស់អំពីរឿងរ៉ាវដែលបានកើតឡើងមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់មានការលំបាកក្នុងការបំពេញមុខងារផេ្សងៗប្រចាំថៃ្ងរបស់គាត់។ គាត់បន្ទោសខ្លួនឯងចំពោះការដែលនៅមានជីវិតរស់។ គាត់អស់សង្ឃឹម។ គាត់គិតថាគួរឱ្យអៀនខ្មាសអំពីព្រឹត្ដការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់ដែលកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់ចេះតែធើ្វឱ្យចំណាយពេលគិតឆ្ងល់ថាហេតុអី្វបានជាហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនោះកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។ គាត់គិតថាគាត់ហាក់ដូចជាចង់ទៅជាឆ្កួត។ គាត់គិតថាមានតែគាត់ម្នាក់គត់ដែលទទួលរងការឈឺចាប់ទាំងនោះ។
