On 17th February the reactionary Peking authorities, following their ignominious failure in inducing the Pol Pot-Ieng Sary traitors to provoke a war of aggression against the Vietnamese people as a tool to jeopardize socialist construction in Vietnam, used their armed forces to launch large-scale aggressive attacks against the territory of the SRV, an independent and sovereign state.
