In 1968, Sy Cheang Nhy aka Khan, aged 26, was born in Chy Meat village, Peam Chy Meat sub-district, Koh Nhek district, Mondul Kiri province, fled into the forest in order to serve in the revolutionary movement. Lam and Kham Phoun were his leader. In 1971, after Khan came back to his village, he worked in office of region 105 under the leadership of Va. In 1972, Khan had a treatment in hospital ofregion 105. In 1973, Khan was a Lam's messenger. In 1974, Lam assigned Khan to take technical telegram training course. In September 1977, after Thin, chief of office of region 105, had betrayed, Lamassigned Soeun to be office chief of region 105 instead of Thin. In October 1977, after Kham Phoun had killed Lang, he assigned Lay to be a chief of regional office instead, and Khan was a deputy chief who took responsible for telegram section of region 105. On January 27, 1978, Khan was detained by the Angkar.
ស៊ី ជាងញុី ហៅ ខាន អាយុ ២៦ឆ្នាំ កើតនៅភូមិជីមាត ឃុំពាមជីមាត ស្រុកកោះញែក ខេត្ដមណ្ឌលគីរី បានរត់ចូលព្រៃ ធ្វើបដិវត្ដនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៦៨ ដែលមានឈ្មោះ ឡាំ និង និង ខាំ ភូន គ្រប់គ្រង។ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ត្រឡប់ចូលភូមិវិញខាតបានមកនៅក្នុង មន្ទីរតំបន់ ១០៥ ក្រោមការគ្រប់គ្រងរបស់ឈ្មោះ វ៉ា។ នៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧២ ឈ្មោះ ខាន ឃី មកដេកពេទ្យតំបន់ ១០៥ ដល់ ១៩៧៣ ធ្វើជានិរសារបស់ ឡាំ។ បន្ទាប់មកនៅឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៤ ឡាំ បានចាត់ តាំងខានអោយរៀនបចេ្ចកទេសទូរលេខទាក់ទងរបស់តំបន់។ខែ៩-១៩៧៧ ធឹន ប្រធានមន្ទីរតំបន់ ១០៥ ក្បត់ ឡាំបានចាត់តាំង ខានជំនួសមន្ទីរតំបន់វិញ។ ដល់ខែ១០-១៩៧៧ ខាំ ភូន បាន សម្លាប់ឈ្មោះ ឡាំង, អោយឈ្មោះ ឡយ មកជំនួសប្រធានមន្ទីរ តំបន់ ខាន ជាអនុប្រធាន តែកាន់ប្រធានក្រុមផ្នែកទូរលេខ តំបន់១០៥។ ខាន ត្រូវអង្គការឃាត់ខ្លួនថ្ងៃទី២៧-១-១៩៧៨។
