New York: Alarmed by the esclating threat of war spilling over from Kampuchea, the U.N General Assembly has called for a ceasefire and Vietnamese troops' withdrawal as the first steps towards establishing a Southeast Asian "zone of peace." The assembly also requested U.N Secretary General Kurt Waldheim "to explore the possibilty of holding an international conference" on Kampuchea.
