When the United Nations Security Council met early this year to consider the Vietnamese invasion of Cambodia followed by occupation, there was much dithering with a Chinese resolution demanding the withdrawal of Vietnamese from Cambodia. But the non-aligned Nations, spearheaded by Security Council members Kuwait and Bangladesh, came to the rescue and tabled a resolution demanding that all foreign troops should leave Cambodia.
