Summary / Abstract :

Lt.Chod Chutuptim of the Thai border Police was looking out over Cambodia from his hilltop observation poost one morning last weeek when the horizon exploded. Vietnamese artillery had opened fire on a string of straw-roofed Cambodia villages along the muddy stream that marked the border half a mile away. Then a Battalion of troops from Vietnam's 75th Division swarmed down on Khmer Rouge trench lines.
