Sophuong Bopha confessed that Yun Phat joined the CIA within the network of Phet Bun Lim and Tiv Kauset. In May 1975, Phat had the link with his old network. In May 1976, after the Angkar purged their superiors, Phat conspired with Yuok Khichour, Sou Sarun and Chhe Lea Teng to carry out treacherous activities.
ឈ្មោះ សូភួងបូផា បានឆ្លើយថា យុន ផាត ចូលសេអ៊ីអា ក្នុងខ្សែភេទ ប៊ុនលឹម, ហោ ធូរេន និង ទីវ កូសិត។ ខែ៥-១៩៧៥ ផាត ភ្ជាប់ខ្សែចាស់វិញ។ ខែ៥-១៩៧៦ នៅពេលដែល អង្គការដកមេៗចេញអស់ ផាត ចូលរួមធ្វើសកម្មភាព ក្បត់ជាមួយយួក ឃីជួ, ស៊ូ សារុន និង ឆែ លាតេង។
